     Horace John Troutman was born on Tuesday, 3 September 1895 at Oriental, Susquehanna Township, Juniata County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of George Richard Troutman and Alice A. Forney. He went by Horace. Horace married, at the age of 26 Ruth Long, age 23, daughter of David Long and Mary E. Long, on Friday, 23 December 1921. He died in October 1973 at the age of 78 years.
