Jacob B. Barner was born on Tuesday, 5 July 1836 at Carroll, Greene Township, Clinton County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Henry Barner and Catharine Kern. Jacob married Susan Moore. He died from Heart trouble on Saturday, 27 July 1901 at the age of 65 years and 22 days at Loganton, Greene Township, Clinton County, Pennsylvania. He was buried on Tuesday, 30 July 1901 at Saint Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery, Loganton, Greene Township, Clinton County, Pennsylvania.
