Archey Adam Douty was born on Monday, 15 April 1872 at Pennsylvania. He was the son of John Douty Jr. and Catharine Anna Barner. Archey married, at the age of 24 Louise Thomas in July 1896. He died on Friday, 5 August 1955 at the age of 83 years, 3 months and 21 days. He was buried at Wildwood Cemetery, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
