     Della Sarah Whitfield was born on Thursday, 10 March 1892 at Crystal Spring, Brush Creek Township, Fulton County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Benjamin Franklin Whitfield and Carrie Eleanor Barton. She married, at the age of 20, George William Wigfield, age 23, son of Simon P. Wigfield and Maria E. Kennard, on Wednesday, 4 December 1912 by the Rev. T. P. Garland at Crystal Spring, Brush Creek Township, Pennsylvania. She died on Thursday, 31 March 1983 at the age of 91 years and 21 days at Epworth Manor, Tyrone, Snyder Township, Blair County, Pennsylvania. She was buried on Saturday, 2 April 1983 at Everett Cemetery, Everett, West Providence Township, Bedford County, Pennsylvania.
