Elizabeth Engle was born in 1842. She was the daughter of John Engle. Elizabeth married Jeremiah J. Barner, son of Henry Barner and Catharine Kern. She died suddenly of acute indigestion on Thursday, 2 February 1911 at the age of 69 years while on a visit with her husband to Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. She was buried on Monday, 6 February 1911 at Sugar Valley Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Eastville, Greene Township, Clinton County, Pennsylvania.
