     John Barner Light was born on Monday, 9 May 1904 at Susquehanna Township, Juniata County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Thaddeus Stephen Light and Mary Ellen Barner. John married, at the age of 27 Violet Fiana Gelnett, age 24, daughter of John L. Gelnett and Daisy Zeiders, on Friday, 4 December 1931. He died on Thursday, 7 November 1991 at the age of 87 years, 5 months and 29 days at Nipple Convalescent Home, Liverpool, Perry County, Pennsylvania. He was buried on Sunday, 10 November 1991 at Riverview Cemetery, Millerstown, Greenwood Township, Perry County, Pennsylvania.
