     William McKinley Light was born on Wednesday, 18 July 1900. He was the son of Thaddeus Stephen Light and Mary Ellen Barner. William married, at the age of 21 Emma Dorma Potter, age 17 on Saturday, 26 November 1921. He died on Monday, 26 August 1985 at the age of 85 years, 1 month and 8 days at Perry Village Nursing Home, New Bloomfield, Centre Township, Perry County, Pennsylvania. He was buried at Saint James Cemetery, Millerstown, Greenwood Township, Perry County, Pennsylvania.
