Jacob Frederick Bunn was born on Sunday, 6 June 1847 at Thompson Township, Seneca County, Ohio. He was the son of Jacob Bunn and Elizabeth Leiter. Jacob married, at the age of 26 Laura O. Groff, age 22, daughter of Hezekiah Groff and Julia Warner, on Friday, 10 October 1873 at Seneca County, Ohio. He was buried at Greenlawn Cemetery, Tiffin, Seneca County, Ohio. He died in 1920 at the age of 72 years at Tiffin, Seneca County, Ohio.
