Myron married, at the age of 19 Deborah Lynn Manor on Tuesday, 5 June 1979 at Martinsburg, Berkeley County, West Virginia. He died due to cancer on Monday, 18 December 2000 at the age of 41 years, 5 months and 9 days at his home at Hancock, Washington County, Maryland. He was buried on Wednesday, 20 December 2000 at Greenway Cemetery, Berkeley Springs, Morgan County, West Virginia.
