Marie Belle Croyle was born on Wednesday, 7 August 1878 at Masseyburg, Barree Township, Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of John C. T. Croyle and Amandaelectra E. Ruhle. Marie married, at the age of 22 Edward Hayes Barner, age 24, son of Henry Barner and Mary Ann Gussler, on Tuesday, 2 July 1901 at Jersey Shore, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, by a Lutheran Minister. She died from Congestive Heart Failure due to Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease. on Monday, 31 March 1958 at the age of 79 years, 7 months and 24 days at Ancora Hospital, Ancora, Camden County, New Jersey. She was buried on Thursday, 3 April 1958 at Jersey Shore Cemetery, Jersey Shore, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
