     Simon Leroy Troutman was born on Thursday, 2 March 1911 at Richfield, Monroe Township, Juniata County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Aaron S. Troutman and Dillie Strawser. Simon married, at the age of 35 Pauline Mae Lyter, age 31, daughter of Elmer William Lyter and Margaret Alice Barner, in August 1946. He died on Saturday, 17 October 1998 at the age of 87 years, 7 months and 15 days at Penn Lutheran Nursing Home, Selinsgrove, Penn Township, Snyder County, Pennsylvania. He was buried at Barner's (Saint John's) Lutheran Church Cemetery, Liverpool RD 1, Perry County, Pennsylvania.
