     Charles Franklin Baker was born on Sunday, 24 February 1918 at Northumberland, Point Township, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of John L. Baker and Dorothy Machamer. Charles married, at the age of 26 Pearl Virginia Lyter, age 20, daughter of Henry Alton Lyter and Evelyn Bromley, on Thursday, 5 October 1944. He died on Saturday, 6 January 2001 at the age of 82 years, 10 months and 13 days. He was buried in row 12, at Barner's (Saint John's) Lutheran Church Cemetery, Liverpool RD 1, Perry County, Pennsylvania.
