     Cornelia Rachel Barner was born on Saturday, 24 October 1857 at Nippenose Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Isaac Barner and Elizabeth Bryson. She went by Rachel. Cornelia married, at the age of 22 William H. Shadle, age 28, son of Solomon Shadle and Hannah Gheen, on Tuesday, 20 July 1880. She died from gangrene in leg on Friday, 10 July 1931 at the age of 73 years, 8 months and 16 days. She was buried at Jersey Shore Cemetery, Jersey Shore, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
