     William Cowden Barner was born in 1875. He was the son of Henry Barner and Mary Ann Gussler. William married (1) Caroline M. Mosher, age 26 on Sunday, 15 February 1903 at Auburn, Cayuga County, New York, by the Rev. E. M. Eddy. William married (2) Carrie Munsell, daughter of Levi Munsell and Jemima Hines Smith, on Saturday, 25 September 1920 at Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. William married (3) Eleanor Bohner, daughter of Benjamin Bohner and Anna Kline, on Wednesday, 20 June 1928 at Pennsylvania. He died on Sunday, 11 October 1942 at the age of 67 years. He was buried at Wildwood Cemetery, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
