Relationship=Grandson of Adam Barner.
George Barner was born on Sunday, 1 November 1801 at Greenwood Township, Mifflin County, Pennsylvania, now Susquehanna Township, Juniata County, PA. He was the son of Henry Barner and Susanna Bunce. George married (1) Lydia Lahr circa 1826. George married (2), at the age of 46 Catharine Arnold, age 38 on Monday, 6 December 1847. He died on Saturday, 5 October 1872 at the age of 70 years, 11 months and 4 days. He was buried at Barner's (Saint John's) Lutheran Church Cemetery, Liverpool RD 1, Perry County, Pennsylvania.
