     Earl Uriah Sheaffer was born on Monday, 14 August 1916 at Susquehanna Township, Juniata County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Edward Clay Sheaffer and Alice Lydia Frymoyer. Earl married, at the age of 22 Martha Jane Hertzler, age 16 on Sunday, 12 February 1939. He died on Sunday, 16 October 1994 at the age of 78 years, 2 months and 2 days at Community General Osteopathic Hospital, Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. He was buried at Leiningers Lutheran Cemetery, Susquehanna Township, Juniata County, Pennsylvania.
