     Charles Leroy Mitchell was born on Tuesday, 19 December 1905 at Pfoutz Valley, Perry County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Harry Samuel Mitchell and Susan E. Frymoyer. Charles married Helen Mae Barner, daughter of Charles Price Barner and Annie Barbara Spicher. In addition to being husband and wife, Charles and Helen were also fourth cousins one time removed. He died on Thursday, 12 May 1983 at the age of 77 years, 4 months and 23 days at Polyclinic Medical Center, Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. He was buried at Barner's (Saint John's) Lutheran Church Cemetery, Liverpool RD 1, Perry County, Pennsylvania.
