Kathryn Edna Fogelsanger was born on Tuesday, 21 May 1889 at Hopewell Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. Kathryn married, at the age of 23 John Emory Coffey, age 22, son of Charles B. She was buried at Spring Hill Cemetery, Shippensburg, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.
