     Violet Fiana Gelnett was born on Wednesday, 16 January 1907 at Steelton, Swatara Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of John L. Gelnett and Daisy Zeiders. Violet married, at the age of 24 John Barner Light, age 27, son of Thaddeus Stephen Light and Mary Ellen Barner, on Friday, 4 December 1931. She died on Thursday, 2 November 2000 at the age of 93 years, 9 months and 17 days in her home at Millerstown, Greenwood Township, Perry County, Pennsylvania. She was buried on Sunday, 5 November 2000 at Riverview Cemetery, Millerstown, Greenwood Township, Perry County, Pennsylvania.
