Carrie Ellen Bostwick was born on Friday, 11 June 1897 at Greenwood Township, Mifflin County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Isaac Rolland Bostwick and Anna Viola Rumbaugh. Carrie married, at the age of 21 Harry Zaring Barner, age 21, son of Isaac Newton Barner and Susan Sarah Zaring, on Saturday, 30 November 1918. She died on Tuesday, 10 January 1956 at the age of 58 years, 6 months and 30 days at Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. She was buried at Barner's (Saint John's) Lutheran Church Cemetery, Liverpool RD 1, Perry County, Pennsylvania.
