     George Alton Lyter was born on Monday, 7 November 1921 at Millerstown RR 2, Greenwood Township, Perry County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Henry Alton Lyter and Evelyn Bromley. George married, at the age of 21 Frances Lenora Moloy, age 20 on Monday, 31 May 1943. He died on Saturday, 7 October 2000 at the age of 78 years and 11 months at Nipple Convalescent Home, Liverpool, Perry County, Pennsylvania. He was buried on Tuesday, 10 October 2000 at Barner's (Saint John's) Lutheran Church Cemetery, Liverpool RD 1, Perry County, Pennsylvania.
