     Palmer Elmer Barner was born on Friday, 25 May 1923. He was the son of Elmer Newton Barner and Blanche Ludella Basom. Palmer married Rosie M. Crimmel, daughter of Clarence A. Crimmel and Mary Jane Sourback. He died on Friday, 25 July 2003 at the age of 80 years and 2 months at his home at Enola, East Pennsboro Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. He was buried on Tuesday, 29 July 2003 at Barner's (Saint John's) Lutheran Church Cemetery, Liverpool RD 1, Perry County, Pennsylvania.
