     Victor Wilhelm Barner was born on Monday, 27 December 1915 at Carroll County, Illinois. He was the son of Elmer Newton Barner and Blanche Ludella Basom. Victor married, at the age of 20 Emma Elizabeth Strawser, age 20, daughter of Edward Strawser and Mary Alice Funk, on Saturday, 10 October 1936 at Saint Paul's Methodist Church, Liverpool, Perry County, Pennsylvania. He died on Wednesday, 26 January 1966 at the age of 50 years and 30 days at Mahoning Township, Montour County, Pennsylvania. He was buried at Barner's (Saint John's) Lutheran Church Cemetery, Liverpool RD 1, Perry County, Pennsylvania.
