     Earl Birchard Barner was born on Sunday, 16 March 1919 at Middleburg RD, Franklin Township, Snyder County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Henry Edward Barner and Priscilla Elizabeth Uplinger. Earl married, at the age of 22 Hazel Margaret Baumer, age 21, daughter of Harry T. Baumer and Laura A. Stark, on Friday, 2 January 1942. He died at 12:30 am on Thursday, 4 September 2003 at the age of 84 years, 5 months and 19 days in his home at Kelly Cross Roads, Kelly Township, Union County, Pennsylvania. He was buried on Monday, 8 September 2003 at Church Hill Cemetery (Twin Churches), Kelly Township, Union County, Pennsylvania.
