     Genifrede Lenore Smith was born on Sunday, 22 June 1924 at Fort Loudon, Peters Township, Franklin County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Abraham Lincoln Smith and Ruth McKinzie Barner. Genifrede married, at the age of 22 Jere Gonder, age 25, son of Brandt Conrad Gonder and Barbara G. [?], on Wednesday, 16 April 1947. She died in her home on Tuesday, 21 November 2006 at the age of 82 years, 4 months and 30 days at Chambersburg, Greene Township, Franklin County, Pennsylvania.
