     Lester Clayton Gipe was born on Friday, 12 October 1923 at Paxtonia, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Henry Clayton Gipe and Blanche Beulah Barner. Lester married, at the age of 19 Charlotte Mae Silliman on Saturday, 26 June 1943. He died on Saturday, 29 November 1997 at the age of 74 years, 1 month and 17 days.
