     Charles Henry Gipe was born on Sunday, 21 December 1913 at Hershey, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Henry Clayton Gipe and Blanche Beulah Barner. Charles married, at the age of 22 Martha Mary Dech, age 21 on Saturday, 27 June 1936. He died on Sunday, 13 August 2000 at the age of 86 years, 7 months and 23 days at Community General Osteopathic Hospital, Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. He was buried on Wednesday, 16 August 2000 at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Lower Paxton Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
