     Paul Edward Barner was born on Sunday, 3 September 1911. He was the son of Clyde Curtis Barner and Mary Josephine Goshert. Paul married Barbara Marie Fogelsanger, daughter of Charles E. Fogelsanger and Dinah E. Baum. He died in 1967 at the age of 55 years. He was buried at Ridge Church Cemetery, Shippensburg, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.
