     Erma Loyetta Lontz was born on Monday, 30 July 1900 at Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of William Jerome Lontz and Catharine Marie Barner. Erma married (1) William Balles at Rockford, Winnebago County, Illinois. Erma married (2) [?] Ahmer at Rockford, Wells County, Indiana. Erma married (3), at the age of 16 Samuel Wester Riippi, age 24, son of Kaarlo Riippi and Edla Mafia Ketoyrjainen, on Monday, 4 June 1917 at Waukegan, Lake County, Illinois. She and Samuel were divorced on 21 January 1931 at Dekalb, DeKalb County, Illinois. She died on Sunday, 10 August 1947 at the age of 47 years and 11 days at DeKalb, DeKalb County, Illinois. She was buried at Fairview Cemetery, Dekalb, Dekalb County, Illinois.
