Florence E. Lontz was born on Wednesday, 6 April 1898 at Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of William Jerome Lontz and Catharine Marie Barner. Florence married, at the age of 18 Louis F. Duck, age 20, son of Frank Duck and Mattie [?], on Tuesday, 26 December 1916 at Sycamore, DeKalb County, Illinois. She died on Thursday, 16 March 1950 at the age of 51 years, 11 months and 10 days at Freeport, Stephenson County, Illinois.
