Isaac Pfoutz was born on Friday, 30 September 1785 at Pfoutz Valley, Cumberland County (now Perry County), Pennsylvania. He was the son of Michael Pfoutz and Elizabeth [?]. Isaac married Elizabeth Barner, daughter of George Barner and Maria Dups. He died on Monday, 3 August 1857 at the age of 71 years, 10 months and 4 days. He was buried at Saint Michael's Cemetery, Pfoutz Valley, Perry County, Pennsylvania.
