George William Adleman was born on Sunday, 10 December 1871 at Laona, Winnebago County, Illinois. He was the son of Franklin H. Adleman and Keturah Zimmerman. George married, at the age of 25 Hattie Belle Callaway, age 16, daughter of Joseph Callaway and Ellanora Cook, on Sunday, 28 February 1897 at West Lima, Richland County, Wisconsin. He died on Wednesday, 28 October 1959 at the age of 87 years, 10 months and 18 days at Durand, Winnebago County, Illinois.
