     Mary Ann Barner was born on Saturday, 25 October 1834 at Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Henry Barner and Elizabeth Smith. Mary married (1) Henry Whitmer. Mary married (2), at the age of 37 George W. Stewart, age 39 in March 1872. She died on Tuesday, 23 July 1889 at the age of 54 years, 8 months and 28 days. She was buried at Barner's (Saint John's) Lutheran Church Cemetery, Liverpool RD 1, Perry County, Pennsylvania.
