     Melvin L. Hauser was born on Sunday, 25 August 1929 at Nippenose Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Henry William Hauser and Lydia Esther Kreitz. Melvin married, at the age of 17 Victoria Homler, age 18 in June 1947. He died on Wednesday, 4 August 2010 at the age of 80 years, 11 months and 10 days at Highlands Care Center, LaPorte, Sullivan County, Pennsylvania. He was interred on Monday, 9 August 2010 at Jersey Shore Cemetery, Jersey Shore, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
