Alma Alice Cooper was born in June 1869. She was the daughter of Henry Wesley Cooper and Sarah Jane Rauch. Alma married, at the age of 19 Francis Albert Kerns, son of John Kerns and Marilla Smith, on Thursday, 9 May 1889 at Council Bluffs, Pottawattamie County, Iowa. She and Francis were divorced in 1912. She died in August 1957 at the age of 88 years and 2 months.
