Catharine Frazier was born on Saturday, 24 February 1821 nearRebersburg, Miles Township, Centre County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Jacob Frazier and Elizabeth Bierly. Catharine married, at the age of 18 Christian Barner, age 22, son of Henry Barner and Susanna Bunce, on Sunday, 20 October 1839 at Penns Valley, Centre County, Pennsylvania. She died on Sunday, 16 October 1904 at the age of 83 years, 7 months and 22 days. She was buried at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Cedar Hill, Lamar Township (near Mill Hall), Clinton County, Pennsylvania.
