Russell Solomon Lupold was born on Monday, 17 June 1918 at Barner Homestead 1 mile east of, Carroll, Greene Township, Clinton County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Harvey Clayton Lupold and Carrie Mae Barner. Russell married, at the age of 27 Dorothy Helen Frederick, age 22 on Saturday, 13 October 1945. He died on Friday, 23 October 2009 at the age of 91 years, 4 months and 6 days at home at New Columbia, White Deer Township, Union County, Pennsylvania. He was buried on Wednesday, 28 October 2009 with full military honors, at Uniontown Cemetery, Allenwood, Gregg Township, Union County, Pennsylvania.
