     Grant Irvin Lupold was born on Wednesday, 13 January 1915 at Carroll, Greene Township, Clinton County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Harvey Clayton Lupold and Carrie Mae Barner. Grant married, at the age of 30 Dorothy Mabel Duck, age 29, daughter of William Pierce Duck and Zora Alice Widemire, on Saturday, 7 April 1945 at Lutheran Church, Watsontown, Delaware Township, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania, by the Rev. Harold Ahalt. He died on Tuesday, 13 November 2001 at the age of 86 years and 10 months.
