     Sarah Jane Rauch was born on Monday, 9 August 1847 at Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of John A. Rauch and Anne Barner. Sarah married Henry Wesley Cooper, son of William S. Cooper and Elizabeth [?], in 1866. She died at her home on Saturday, 25 May 1935 at the age of 87 years, 9 months and 16 days at Plainfield, Bremer County, Iowa. She was buried on Tuesday, 28 May 1935 at Willow Lawn Cemetery, Plainfield, Bremer County, Iowa.
