     Clyde Abner Brungard was born on Tuesday, 3 August 1897 at Mill Hall, Bald Eagle Township, Clinton County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of George E. Brungart and Bertha Emerick. He went by Abner. Abner married, at the age of 20 Cordelia E. Barner, age 18, daughter of William Andrew Jackson Barner and Ardella May Greak, on Saturday, 22 December 1917 at Clinton County, Pennsylvania. He died on Wednesday, 11 May 1938 at the age of 40 years, 9 months and 8 days. He was buried at Sunnyside Cemetery, Fairpoint, Bald Eagle Township, Clinton County, Pennsylvania.
