He died on Sunday, 10 March 1996 at the age of 68 years, 4 months and 9 days at Mill Hall, Bald Eagle Township, Clinton County, Pennsylvania. He was buried at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Cedar Hill, Lamar Township (near Mill Hall), Clinton County, Pennsylvania.
