     Walter Calvin Barner Jr. was born on Monday, 10 December 1923 at Lock Haven, Clinton County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Walter Calvin Barner and Lyda nmi Smith. Walter married, at the age of 25 Ilene Mary Lesher, age 21, daughter of Ellis R. Lesher and Edna M. Stamm, on Sunday, 26 June 1949. He died on Sunday, 25 October 2009 at the age of 85 years, 10 months and 15 days at Manor Care Health Services, Jersey Shore, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, where he had been a resident for his last 8 years. He was interred on Saturday, 31 October 2009 at Mt. Pleasant Evangelical Cemetery, Rosecrans, Greene Township, Clinton County, Pennsylvania.
