     Ruth May Barner was born on Tuesday, 21 May 1918 at Rote, Lamar Township, Clinton County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Walter Calvin Barner and Lyda nmi Smith. Ruth married, at the age of 24 John Albert Yost Jr., age 26, son of John Albert Yost and Jennifer A. Shadle, on Friday, 23 April 1943 at Clinton County, Pennsylvania. In addition to being husband and wife, Ruth and John were also fourth cousins one time removed. She and John were divorced. She died on Thursday, 2 March 2000 at the age of 81 years, 9 months and 10 days at Lock Haven Hospital, Lock Haven, Clinton County, Pennsylvania. She was buried on Sunday, 5 March 2000 at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Cedar Hill, Lamar Township (near Mill Hall), Clinton County, Pennsylvania.
