     Mabel Jean Lamey was born on Wednesday, 28 November 1934 at Loganton, Greene Township, Clinton County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Harry Edwin Lamey and Edna Elizabeth Kleckner. She went by Jean. Mabel married, at the age of 17 George Forbes Lamey, age 22, son of Ellis William Lamey and Della Gertrude Reuther, on Saturday, 15 December 1951. She died on Thursday, 10 July 2008 at the age of 73 years, 7 months and 12 days at Williamsport Hospital, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. She was buried on Monday, 14 July 2008 at Fairview Evangelical Cemetery, Loganton, Greene Township, Clinton County, Pennsylvania.
