     Robert Lawrence Ryan was born on Wednesday, 19 November 1924 at Lodi Hospital, Lodi, Medina County, Ohio. He was the son of Lawrence Ryan and Emma Gable. Robert married Virginia W. Dewitt, daughter of Talmage Dewey Dewitt and Winifred Mildred Wilt, in 1950 at Brunswick United Methodist Church, Brunswick, Medina County, Ohio. He died on Saturday, 3 August 2002 at the age of 77 years, 8 months and 15 days.
