     William Taylor Wilt was born on Saturday, 10 August 1878 at Venango County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of George Barner Wilt and Alma Althea Downing. William married (1), at the age of 38 Mary Floy Jack, age 28 on Tuesday, 6 March 1917 at Paris, Edgar County, Illinois. William married (2) Loraine E. Aft after 1924. He died on Tuesday, 13 May 1958 at the age of 79 years, 9 months and 3 days at Logansport Hospital, Logansport, Cass County, Indiana. He was buried in lot G 65, at Fairview Cemetery, Vincennes, Knox County, Indiana.
