     Paul Irving Pierson was born on Friday, 15 February 1884 at Hinam, Portage County, Ohio. He was the son of Arthur C. Pierson and Alta May Wiser. Paul married, at the age of 30 Mabel Verna Allison, age 27, daughter of James Harvey Allison and Henrietta Katharine Shaffer, on Saturday, 13 June 1914 at Nittany, Walker Township, Centre County, Pennsylvania. He died on Friday, 31 March 1967 at the age of 83 years, 1 month and 16 days at Baroda Township, Berrien County, Michigan. He was buried at Maple Grove, Farmer City, DeWitt County, Illinois.
