     Ralph Herbert Barner was born on Thursday, 25 August 1921 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Gardner O'Clare Barner and Eva nmn Schuman. Ralph married, at the age of 24 Rose Ellen Halstead, age 18, daughter of Erastus E. Halstead and Clara G. Moore, on Thursday, 7 March 1946. He and Rose were divorced. He died on Sunday, 9 December 2001 at the age of 80 years, 3 months and 14 days at Manor Care, Jersey Shore, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. He was buried on Wednesday, 12 December 2001 at Jersey Shore Cemetery, Jersey Shore, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
