     Charles Ernest Barner was born on Saturday, 29 July 1922 at Oval, Limestone Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Warren Dean Barner and Margaret Evelyn Wentzel. Charles married Loretta J. Keeler, daughter of Ralph M. Keeler and Margaret Esther Stabley. He died following a lengthy illness on Wednesday, 1 October 2003 at the age of 81 years, 2 months and 2 days at Williamsport Home, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. He was buried on Saturday, 4 October 2003 at Oval Cemetery, Oval, Limestone Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
