     Gertrude Jeannette Barner was born on Sunday, 31 August 1919 at South Williamsport, Armstrong Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of John Merrill Barner and Viola Ida Hartman. Gertrude married, at the age of 24 Fletcher Lee Richards Jr., age 28 on Monday, 28 August 1944 at Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. She died on Monday, 25 September 1995 at the age of 76 years and 24 days at Sacramento, Sacramento County, California.
